THIS is the tour you should book.
My two friends - Sean, Rene and I booked this tour because we wanted to have an authentic food experience and we did and much more. Our host, Cha Cha had a story to tell us about each food we ate. She was charismatic and funny and such a light. I felt like we were walking with the mayor of the town given the reactions of the restaurant owners and friends she ran into on the street. A great thing about Star and Cha Cha’s food tours is that they give back to their community with what they are doing. On top of this everything we ate was so delicious and I walked out of the tour thinking that I would have some knowledge to drop on my friends when we go out for Mexican in the states. :)

Must do food tour!!
The food tour was awesome!! Come with an empty stomach because u r going to try some amazing food and lots of it. Cha Cha, our tour guide, was amazing as well. Every place we stopped she gave us a little history of the food we were eating and of the restaurant we were at. We went on a Saturday night and the little city we were in was very busy with locals having fun after a long week of work. The food was awesome. I can’t even tell u what my favorite was because they were all soooooo good. I would recommend this to anyone that is a foodie.

Best food tour ever!
We wanted to experience more traditional foods and drinks. Something away from the tourist area. This tour was amazing. So much good food and flavorful drinks. Our guide, Chacha educated us on the history of each dish we ate, it was just lovely! If you are a foodie, this is a must do!! If you just want to visit a different part of PV, this is a great way to see a new neighborhood.

A great experience!
This was amazing. We had Star as our guide. She took on the difficult task of taking my picky teenagers to eat street tacos and desserts. She nailed it. My kids tried all sorts of things and had fun. There was more food than we eat - and I have big kids. I would 1000% do this again.

Eat like a local!
If you want the local experience with amazing food, this is the tour you should go on! The tour guide really knows the history of the food and makes sure you are served quality and authentic food from Puerto Vallarta. I was so satisfied with all the restaurants she brought us to, and I felt like the portion sizes were great! I was stuffed by the end of the tour! I 100% recommend going on this tour, especially at the beginning of your trip so you can go back to all your favorite places.

Star was an amazing tour guide. We enjoyed over 10 different types of food and a number of interesting drinks as well. So much food! We were absolutely stuffed at the end :) She was enthusiastic and answered all of our questions. I would highly suggest this experience if you want to get out of the touristy area of Puerto Vallarta!

Fantastico!!!
What a fun tour, Star is super passionate about food, how it’s made and it’s history. I can’t even begin to remember all the things we tasted and drank(nonalcoholic). Highly recommend going to Pitillal for a food tour, you won’t regret it.
