I’m Cuban American and this place it’s a great place to come out and taste great cuban cooking in Mexico , have become a regular , more than one or two visits per week , can’t get enough , and every time food and service it’s superb , keep it Roberto you get a 100 from me

A snippet of the Caribbean

Roberto & Co. created a very special place in this corner of the world that takes you without leaving to the heart of Cuba. You feel embraced and at home. Service is top notch and food is as simple and as complicated as Cubans are... festive, delicious, unforgettable. You really have to visit this place ten times to grasp the depth of its menu.

beutiful setting with color and life, great food

Dinner last night. wonderful hosts, Ana and Roberto, and always smiling server, Charlotte. Unique garden setting with lights, color, music, and nature. As soon as you step on to the grounds you feel the life. Great food. I really enjoyed the Cuban bowl with shrimp, guacamole, cafe Cubano. They make you feel at home.

Cuban food at its best

Great outdoor dining with live music. Wes Fields was playing some awesome classic rock. The Cuban press sandwich was to die for, loved the shoe string fries that came with it. Make sure you end evening with a Cuban Expresso.

Love this place!

Charming atmosphere and great food - a wonderful addition to West Ajijic (or all of Ajijic for that matter) restaurant options. The setting is beautiful and comfortable. The people, including the waiter Caesar and the proprietress, Ana, are friendly and warm. This could become my new home away from home.

A gem in food and atmosphere

It is part of a B&B. But it is a stand-alone restaurant and we will absolutely, positively be returning to it. The burger was so very delicious. The string french fries outstanding. And the guacamole was better than I have had at amny other places. But it all started off with Cesar the waiter, who made the whole experience so enjoyable. The music was very pleasant and the whole locale was quite peaceful, soothing. A hidden gem you should find!

Excellent Traditional Cuban Cuisine

I tried this place which came highly recommended by a friend. I am Cuban and I must say the food is delicious and true to Cuban food. I can put it up there in a class with my mom’s that I grew up with. We both had the traditional Lechon a roasted pork, with congri that is rice mixed with black beans, plátanos maduros the sweet plantains and of course a couple of Mojitios and a piece of flan for desert. My husband and I loved it so much that we came back the next day! It will become a favorite hangout for us! Highly recommend the food and the atmosphere.

Beautiful setting, best cuban food in town except for my cuban wife’s food! Lechugo was fabulous!

Owner was the best, his wife was great, Cesar, the waiter was awesome! Food was completely traditional! Best I’ve had stateside or in Mexico! The setting was comfortable and extremely relaxing, beautiful surroundings. We are going to become regulars here!!!
