Best Sushi in Playa del Carmen

After walking the wrong direction for hours looking for Ronin (read great reviews) my husband and I found it! It was worth the wait. All the dishes were fantastic and had great flavor combinations! We had an awesome server, I think his name was Johnny(? He had shoulder length blonde hair and is a Sagittarius) who was very friendly. Overall a great experience!

Excellent food, location, service

I love Sushi and Japanese food in general. I had a bad experience in another restaurant in Playa del Carmen and I bumped into this small cute stand where they were preparing sushi right in front of your eyes, just the way I like it. The place is relatively new and the owner is a young willing man. He was very friendly and helpful when choosing the dish I wanted. The seating is on the 5th avenue and very charming, not fake posh as other restaurants nearby. The chef is young but experienced and the quality of the food is excellent. Been there more than once already and must say they have never disappointed me. Till now I tried the excellent Sushi (tuna, salmon, octopus), a tuna steak and fresh groper in special soy sauce. They even have fresh fish of the day which was hunted by a scuba friend, can’t be fresher than that. Very friendly atmosphere.
