A must in Acapulco

This place is awesome. The courtesy soup is awesome (it’s really hot for people that are not used to it) and the service is also outstanding. We tried the shrimp basket, the tatemados shrimps and the tuna with Philadelphia cheese. All of them were awesome and delicious. The place is not cheap but it worths what it costs.

Cozy and surprising little place

We found this little place through TripAdvisor. Our second time in this place. All is great!! The taquito Gober was delicious, and the Cajun Shrimp was excellent!!! The chimichanga is sweet and tasty!!! And the service is excellent. I will return in every opportunity.

Outstanding “tostadas de pulpo enamorado” a must have along with their delicious ceviche and tuna with a sweet and sour sauce. Simply magnificent.

Such great food, from such a small place

We stumbled upon this place when we heard it over and over from locals, the day prior we went to a big seafood chain restaurant... called “fisher’s”; it was OK, no more than that. So needless to say we hesitated, but gave it a chance. Upon our arrival, Alex (host/owner) took care of us as if we were regulars, such an energetic and cool dude (also English is not an issue here). The menu had all the “classics” and a lot variety. Food was excellent, around 3-4 minutes wait from placing the order to having our plate in front of us (and they had a full house), so flavorful, no wonder all the locals eating here. Ambience is great, still a “no shoes, no shirt, no service” policy, but this helps keeping the family environment it has. Price wise it is really affordable, around 10-15 USD per person (with dessert and a couple of beers but no strong liquor) you will end up FULL. The only “Cons” we could find: If you have a party larger than 4, you should call in advance or prepare to wait for around 15-30 minutes. And few options for dessert (although the dessert chimichanga was delicious). No wonder why this pearl was so recommended. Nick V.

Wonderful experience

Very nice, small local restaurant. Where the locals eat. I think we were the only gringos. But that will change, as we will tell all of our snowbirds about the place. Great food and excellent service. "All" of the wait staff take care of you. If you have more than 4 people, call ahead so they have room. Excellent. Can’t wait to take friends.
