Amazing dinner

This restaurant was amazing! We had the nine course chef tasting menu, it was a wonderful experience. I highly suggest doing the wine pairing with it, which also included some tequila. The food was imaginative and exceptional. The service was above and beyond, Elizabeth went out of her way to make our tenth anniversary dinner very special. We will definitely be back on our next trip to Guadalajara, and we can’t wait!

Absolutely Fantastic

After having just tried several high-end restaurants in Mexico City, this blows them all out of the water. The food is creative and fresh, and changes based on what is in season. The portions are just right - not too much and not pretentiously small.

Great value Michelin Starred Tasting Menu

Even though we made a reservation that’s half an hour later than the starting time for the tasting menu, the chef was very accommodating and agreed to let us have the tasting menu. There was a wide variety of different types of food, in a great vartiety of cooking methods. We also loved that almost every dish has at least one components that makes it Mexican, as opposed to another French/Italian Michelin star restaurant. The cocktails are also great. There were so many courses that we could barely walk after the meal, and it was very economical for a fine dining restaurants. Service was great as well.

Why bother trying new restaurants when Alcalde is the best.

We went to a tequila and dinner pairing, and as always, it surpassed our expectations. We will not waste our time trying other places, if you want a truly amazing culinary experience, this one is the best.

Spectacular, both the food and the service. A must do in Guadalajara.

We did the tasting menu, and every dish was fantastic. The level of care and detail for each dish was amazing. The Arroz con leche dessert is one of the best things I’ve tasted. The service was great, very attentive, great suggestion for drinks and our server suggested a mescal pairing which worked extremely well. Would highly recommend this place, great experience overall!

A must

It's rated as in the top five of the country and you can tell why. In my opinion, the twist on typical or simple dishes and attention to details is notable. Will definitely go back.

Simply great. Everything

Simply great. Everything in the Menu. Chef Franscisco Ruano is a Master Chef, the flavors and service are impecable. In my opinion Top 5 restaurants en Mexico along Sud 777, Quintonil, Pujol, and Alcalde(Guadalajara)
