Unique off the beaten path, beautiful and relaxing
We stayed two nights at Rancho La Venta and enjoyed every minute of it. Liz and Bob have carved out a lovely place in the mountains north of Cabo San Lucas. It is almost the polar opposite of the intense tourist zone in Cabo. The ranch has three casitas for guests. We stayed in the larger of the three, with en suite bath and fire place, it was perfect. Well designed, built and furnished with original art and custom touches. The other two casita share a nearby bathroom and shower. A wonderful breakfast is included with many of the ingredients sourced right on the ranch. In addition to just relaxing we hiked, did a horse ride with Liz, soaked in the beautiful pool built into the rock, soaked in the sauna and watched the humming birds, orioles, cardinals, finches and tons of other birds. Liz, Daniel and Stephanie went out of their way and really made us feel welcome and comfortable. A great place highly recommended! …

Ultimate in relaxation
Seeking warmth from our cold winter weather, Rancho LaVenta was the best place to be. Totally relaxing, excellent breakfast that was big enough to last until lunch. Friendly folks and animals. We even had our own cat to keep us cozy at night. Hiking the old cobblestone trail to El Triunfo was a great way to see the mountains and small towns along the way. Their wine was a great addition to our dinners we cooked inn the shared kitchen. Refrigerator to keep our food in, but a good drive to closest market in Los Barriles. But a great town to check out too. Highly recommend this place.

Fabulous Food and Wine!
I had my daughter’s bridal shower poolside at Rancho La Venta. The meal was incredible - organic chicken, organic salad, hummus, bread, etc., and of course Rancho La Venta wine. The setting was magical, we all ate, swam, sunbathed. A wonderful time was had by all!
