Quebracho Condesa, Mexico City

Incredible service!! Buenos Aires was the first place I traveled abroad and it hold a big spot in my heart. Quebracho had great empanadas that were the closest to those I’ve had in BA.

Visiting from NY. The steak was epic. Seriously delicious. Great ambiance, service was excellent and overall couldn’t have asked for more at all. Really really good! Thank you!

And if you do, wow zowie. We shared (4 people) a huge sampler of beef, salads, a bottle of wine and many shots of tequila and beers all for less than $150 US. The topper was the 7 piece mariachi band that played lights out for us. What an amazing experience! Great food, GREAT service, all round wonderful evening.

We have been to many Argentinian restaurants, but Quebracho Condesa, is the clear winner. The meat is excellent quality & superbly seasoned, the soups, salads & pastas are excellent & well served. The service is outstanding & the coffee & desserts just as good. I highly recommend this restaurant especially to meat lovers.

We were slightly apprehensive after reading reviews but for no reason. After 3 weeks touring Mexico this was the best steak we had. Genuine Argentinian cuts and flavours. It’s not cheap for Mexico but it’s worth it if you want char grilled flavour and texture.

we liked the dishes and the selections from the menu were great. We had a nice steak. The service was good.

We had the most wonderful meal. The meat selections are many and its preparation is perfect. And I am not even a steak lover. The location is great and the decor inside is simple but great. The empanadas were delicious and so was their Malvec. Heck, everything we ordered was fantastic I highly recommend a visit.

Wow, just wow! Had dinner with friends last night at Quebracho. We went with the Paradilla aka communal way of eating meats. The tray of raw meat shown made me think this could be quite good. (*I’ve been an award winning butcher in a former life). We chose a NY strip steak, quite thick as it should be, a flank steak, and a skirt steak. (other choices were Rib Eye, Tenderloin, Top round and I believe marbled bone in tips. We explained we wanted our meats served very rare *blue. Sides were a ceasar, and creamed spinach. More side choices available. Meats came out served on sizzling platters, which makes a bit worried since the meat cookes through. No need to worry though.... the meats came out PERFECTLY!......... Meat was rare and the flavors were excellent! *meat was not seasoned and in this case warranted. Chimichura and another pimiento sauce were offered and they compliment nicely *I like spicy, yet with the flavors of the meat this was very good. My friends were blown away by the quality as well, one a very picky eather. He could not stop raving... *we ate the night before at Sonora grille and frankly Sonora can’t touch what qualilty wise was served at Quebracho. Service was very friendly and we crossed the language barrier quite nicely. Wine selection is adequate. Our Malbec was a little thin in bodywise. The owner later on comped us a pour of a wine he felt would have been more suited for our taste. A gracious gesture. Would I recommend this restaurant?............... YOU BET. My friends who return to CDMX said they would absolutely return. We are in town for 3 months and are sure to return during our stay.
