Food is beyond excellent

As you can see from my post’s I’m a very picky eater. But here.... I came here to eat for two weeks, almost everyday. Breakfast or lunch. Amanda&Virginia are like food magicians! The food was consistently beyond excellent. Fresh, tasty, healthy. I wish they had a restaurant next door to my place back home. Both are also super friendly. I felt quickly like home. The atmosphere is very relaxed, the garden beautiful.

Fresh & tasty

We had a very good breakfast there. The two girls made everything complely fresh. Sandwiches, pancakes and very good juices!

so good!! I love this cafe

Every single thing I ate there was delicious and I ate there pretty much every day for two months. the chef, Amanda, is amazing. and also offers cooking classes. the other chef, Virginia, is so nice and also a great cook. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Fantastic food in a lovely atmosphere!

Virginia is the bomb!!! Each day she offers up a special that was always delicious! I was studying at La Calle Spanish School (where the restaurant is located) and ate there almost everyday. Great place to hang out as well!

Swim, Eat and Learn Spanish

I attended La Calle to study Spanish, and this restaurant is located in the same building. The food was delicious, inexpensive, and very filling. There is a lovely pool right outside of the restaurant so you can swim then have a great lunch, snack or dinner.

Lovely place with delicious food

We had lunch at Punto de reunion and we really enjoyed it. Everything is fresh, healthy and not expensive. We loved the juices as they were without sugar. Would come back anytime.

Delicious

The food here is mouth watering! Each daily menu was delicious! I am vegan and I was pleased that a vegan option was available on request! I was here everyday for 5days.the price is great and the food is unbelievable delicious. It’s a wonderful, relaxed atmosphere and has a pool too

Gem of a Restaurant: Punto de Reunion

This a new restaurant inside the school building Calle 55. It is protected with a roof, but is open on one side to see the pool, lovely trees and garden. This is a gem of a restaurant. I ate here a number of times while spending a month in Merida. I liked it better than any other restaurant in Merida. The food is excellent, fresh and made with care. And, it is inexpensive! They have a menu with a featured dish each day of the week and also have items available every day. You can see the two accomplished chefs, Amanda and Virginia, cooking and they are lovely to talk to. Try this restaurant. You won’t be disappointed.

Fantastic food, wonderful people

I was introduced to Punto de Reunion while taking Spanish lessons at La Calle language school, and it became a regular haunt of mine even after I was no longer a student at the school. Delicious food, a fixed menu as well as a rotating daily dish. The daily dish always has a vegetarian and omnivorous option. I will also say, they were incredibly accommodating of my vegan diet. Beyond the delicious food, everybody at Punto de Reunion as well as La Calle is incredibly warm and friendly. This spot is truly a hidden gem.
