nice scenic place in the center of town
This is a nice place to sit and relax from busy shopping and maybe have a coffee or other drinks at the many nearby bars.

Loads of Entertainment Shopping, Food and Drink
Plaza Central has lost it’s charming deep Mexico feeling and unique boutique shops, but it’s still a good place to just wander. Many stores are now commonly found throughout the Caribbean but Plaza Central maintains it’s colorful shops and "eye candy". There are no bargains and some of the shops which imported goods have significantly raised their prices. However, interesting handicrafts are still to be found and the usual silver jewelry is sold by mostly polite pushy vendors.

Shopping, shopping shopping
You can find anything here, you have to be able to say no and if you want it, you have to barter for the best price, if it’s not what you want to pay, leave, if they chase you it’s a good price if they don’t it was too low. It’s a fun place to shop or stop for a beer.

We caught a taxi from the international terminal to have a look around. it is a very interesting place we found it very safe. prices were cheap but you had to haggle with them and be prepared to walk away if they wouldn’t drop the price
