Playa Azul is a Breakfast hotel but if you prefer the All Inclusive vacation our resort offers the best menu (a la carte) both for food and beverages.

This hotel is still the best

This is a relatively small, charming hotel right on the beach, away from the hustle and bustle of downtown. Breakfast, which comes with the room, is quite varied and tasty, The rooms are spotless and the staff is shockingly accommodating. We felt safe from Covid and cared for. I also had 2 massages from Ingrid at the hotel spa, and they were fabulous. We were also here in March/2021 and the streets were empty of tourists and the locals had a rough time, financially. My recommendation is visitors should tip - regularly and generously. The taxi drivers, restaurant workers, and hotel cleaning and wait staff truly need it. An extra $5, $10, or $20 means little to many Americans but means a great deal to the hard working Cozulmelanos.

Amazing Anniversary Trip

We are beyond grateful to the wonderful, warm staff for making this such a lovely anniversary celebration for us! Playa Azul holds a special place in our hearts as everyone was incredibly kind, accommodating, and made our stay just perfect. The resort is cozy with a beautiful beach and swimming area, our room was spacious and had everything we needed, and the food and drinks were delicious!! We opted for the all-inclusive plan and were glad we did! If you’re looking for an easy, low-key, and friendly place to stay in gorgeous Cozumel, this is it!!

Fabulous Stay

This was my first time to Cozumel. The staff at the resort was fantastic and very attentive. My hat goes off to Juan!!! I am glad I visited during a drop in the peak of tourist. It felt so wonderful to be treated like family. I cant wait to come back to this resort.

Once again, Playa Azul shines

This was our 6th stay at Playa Azul. We came for 2 weeks for me to complete my extensive dental work in San Miguel. As always, the staff remembered us and welcomed us warmly back into "the family". The breakfast was delicious and we ate many dinners, which were equally delicious. We could always choose another place to stay, but always come back "home" to our favorite hotel in Cozumel because of the awesome staff and the manner in which we are cared for. We’ll be back next year! Thank you everyone on staff for a great experience!

Great stay!!

The best place to stay in Cozumel for sure! Love the beach and the staff is amazing. Really accommodating. Great pricing too. The staff was great. The free breaks fast is super yummy. Lunch and dinner food wasn’t great, but is easy and fine for chilling during the day. Would highly recommend. Eleazar was incredible. We had a group of ten and I changed the reservation 5 times and he was responsive and friendly every time.
