So good

Food is a complete experience. To explain some dishes the main chef (Diego) came into our table, and actually besides cooking incredible... he is extremely sexy. Only remark is that for some reason, even it’s called wine bistrot, the wine options were extremely limited. Walking distance from main 4 hotels, so you can’t miss it.

Very interesting

The ambiance and the name might seem like a bit of a generic wine bar but the food was a very interesting take on Mexican fusion cuisine on par with other of the more famous restaurants in the city. The wine list has some great Mexican wines as well. Don’t miss the grapefruit and avocado desert!

Lovely service, delicious food

I had not made a reservation so I was worried that they might not be able to accommodate me, but the venue was only about half full. I started with avocado stuffed with seafood, cucumber and red radish followed by roasted duck with baked apple wedges and washed down with Modelo lager. The avocado was superb, and the seafood chunks were almost like ceviche, nice and zesty! The duck, which when prompted I ordered medium, was delicious and of the right size! The service was highly professional, attentive and polite. English menu was available.

Business lunch with friends

What a fabulous culinary experience was our lunch and too service. Welcomed by one of the owners/ chef Diego. We ate amazing a rice crispy entree and a delicious sauce followed by main dishes placed in the middle to share as per our request. Cochinita Pivil tamale out of this world (different from the common local option) n Ed to open your palate to explore its taste. Duck medium well in a delicious sauce, octopus “a la plancha” wow I really want more and coliflor “al horno” to die for. Definitely wine and a dessert to finish our suculento lunch. If in Mexico City try it you will enjoy it.

Exceptional Food

This is a small restaurant but very convenient to the Polancito hotels. The service was excellent - friendly and attentive without being intrusive. The menu is varied with some really creative dishes. Presentation is beautiful and the flavours of the dishes I had were complex and very enjoyable. I was extremely impressed with this restaurant.

Remarkable food

We were ready to try some Mexican wine and Nexo is across from our hotel (Hyatt in Polanco) and has many great reviews. The food was truly exceptional. Avocado with seafood — definitely not avocado with shrimp and thousand island dressing — truly outstanding. Same for the cauliflower dish, the amazing duck breast and the short ribs with a wonderful adobo sauce. A very interesting and delicious flan with berries and unexpected herbs. The San Vicente (Baja) wine (cab, I think) was our first Mexican wine ever, and was excellent. We had a great visit with Chef Cesar and he was kind enough to recommend restaurants to try in SMA and Querétaro. Service was outstanding. I really can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed our dinner.

Amazing experience - definitely coming back

Nouveau Mexican cuisine at its best. 2 chefs in one kitchen, 2 styles, 2 philosophies. One great friendship and it’s shows.... one amazing dish after another black bean tamale with cochinita pibil, Octopus, duck, brioche dessert. The flavors, the preparation all made to perfection.... definitely coming back #nemorestaurante nexobistrot.com

Extraordinary surprise

Our hotel concierge recommended this bistro a block away and around the corner. The restaurant has space maximized, an efficient kitchen, incredible service, topped off with the food of Chef Diego Nino. He personally served every dish, which were incredibly flavored, beautifully presented and gastronomically creative. The duck was outstanding, the artichokes were to die for, the octopus was grilled to perfection with a colorful and flavorful sauce and the finale, a chocolate caramel tarte topped with a hibiscus glaze. Anyone contemplating a night out, wanting a low key bistro, with food you would expect in New York, this is the place to go to with Chef Nino. PS we went early and got all of his attention...I highly recommend a visit with him, if you get the chance.
