Located in Centro Morelia, the museum has an excellent shop where you can purchase local art from the villages in the state.

A nice collection

A bit of everything, prehistoric, natural, local life, history, etc. Signposted in Spanish only, but you can guess what’s what about. Local art in one of the rooms as well.

Worth the visit

The Michoacan Museum was interesting both in its prehistoric exhibits but also 19th-century Mexican history. Located in the center of the colonial city.
