Excellent place for going everywhere.

I visited MexiquiZocalo with my partner during the festival of the death in Mexico City and it was amazing to stay a few blocks from everywhere. The place is perfect for travelers, like me, who love to walk through the city. The subway is so near that you can go anywhere you would like. The people working there are so warm and polite that it gave me a great experience with Mexico and their people! definitely I will come back!!

Good Location

The location is second to none, it is over looking the main square. Very centric and has many restaurants and fast food joints and places to eat Quesadillas around. staff are super helpful. I totally recommend this hostel.

Must stay here!

Great location, right off the central plaza in the historic centre, you’ll find this is perfect for walking into the bustle of the city and close to amenities. You feel like you are in the life of the city. Bunk beds were really clean, comfortable and super sturdy - bolted to the walls. I found out what a difference this makes, when I went to another hostel around the corner where the bunk beds moved really easily. Breakfast isn’t exactly that filling, but we got coffee, juice, free water from a big bottle whenever we needed, and the vibe of the hostel felt great. Staff is very friendly and attentative to our needs. BIG bonus also was that apart from our separate lockers, we also had a smaller locker above the bed which was super handy for putting smaller items in at night i.e. put phone on charge. Will be staying here again for sure !! …

Great restaurant!

We’d gotten back to the Zocalo on one of the tour busses and looked for a place to eat. We actually were headed next door, but the prices were crazy...so...stepped into Mexiqui.Everything was delicious and inexpensive....and the cappuccino wasn’t any fake stuff...real and delicious! Great atmosphere...in and outdoor eating. They were out of one whole page on the menu, which would have been nice to know before we ordered...but that’s the only problem we had. Really want to go back!
