A great place for lunch

The atmosphere is awesome in here, there’s so much to look at. The silverware comes in little paper bags, and employees are all wearing masks. I had the shrimp tacos, which were fantastic and we all shared a nacho which was also amazing! During our lunch there was a street band and dancers that came for entertainment. The bathrooms are upstairs and sparkling clean. I’d definitely recommend stopping in here.

Lunch

Very good good. Loved the service! It’s been awhile since we were allowed to travel, die to the covid situation. We just need to have that Mexican feel again. We decided to go to town and eat a real mexican lunch. The tacos were do delicious. The guacamole was made at out table. That was so yummy. The nacho platter was to die for. The service was excellent. Noe I’d believe his name was, was great.

Iconic Playa Landmark

I’ve been visiting Playa at least once a year for the last decade and I’m proud to say there is no place like Mexico Loco to get some fine Ceviche. You can walk up to any Mexican joint down the 5th avenue and few will be as genuine as this place.

An authentically Mexican afternoon delight

We where coming back from the beach walking on 5th Av when we started to hear the Mariachi all happy singing& dancing beautifully in full blast that we decided to go try the tacos there and as soon as you walk in its like a portal to the real deal. Theres really cool authentic decorations all over that really brig the place to life. Combined with the beats of the mariachi and the deliciousness of the "Guacamole in mesa" as well as the"Cochinita Tacos". Our server "Estrella" was super nice & kind making us laugh a lot really immersing us into the whole experience of being in the real Mexico enjoying this gastronomical experience listening to the Mariachi live and have the Papantla dancers flying to the left.

A delicious multisensioral inmersive cultural experience.

We loved everything about Mexico Loco - amazing Mexican atmosphere and splendid murals all over, delicious food, and great music too! We learned about the culture and history while eating delicious burritos. :) Can’t wait to go back!
