Charming dining spot in Puebla

Our tour guide recommended La Sacristía for lunch and it did not disappoint. Its a small restaurant with a gorgeous courtyard, good service and amazing food. The chalupas were tasty and the traditional mole was excellent.

excellent experience

We got there early for lunch by Mexican standards, and were the only ones there during our lunch. Despite that, the place is so beautiful that the atmosphere was great. It is really a very beautiful place. The waiter was very attentive to us. The margaritas were perfect. And the food was great, in particular the trio of moles. In sum, a must in Puebla.

Don’t miss a great lunch!

Very good food, good service and good atmosphere. I highly recommend the following dishes: Huazontles, Chalupas, Mole poblano and Perejil Frito everything was delicious, after that, have a walk on the Callejon del Sapo :)

Perfect!

A hidden gem in the antique quarter of Puebla. Attentive staff, delicious food and sometimes beautiful music in the acoustically designed atrium..if you are in Puebla you MUST come here!!

Just had to have the mole!

This is a small restaurant that seems to be part of a hotel. The food and service were excellent! Recommended!

Fantastic Chicken Mole Sampler

Wonderful courtyard setting for dinner with attentive service. Highly recommend the chicken mole sampler with 4 different sauces. Each one had it's own unique flavor and was Wowed by the taste. The best mole we tried in all of Puebla during our visit.

The Best Margarita I Ever Had

We were walking around downtown Puebla (called in Spanish "Centro Histórico") and ended up in "El Callejón de los Sapos" (Toad’s Alley). We found this place, which is quaint, cozy and with a very distinctive decor. It was the middle of the afternoon and very hot, so we decided to have a frozen Margarita, a Mexican cocktail with lime juice, sugar simple syrup and tequila. It was the best I ever had. The bar has a wonderful staff and service. We did not stay at the hotel but it seemed very nice and, above all, in the middle of the city action.
