Couldn’t/shouldn’t pass it up!

After reading reviews, selected this for our last night in PV, making reservations as I read was recommended. My partner had sashimi, I had the special with snapper, Camerones, and veggies. We started with cocktails, a small Caesar salad that was great (and complimentary) followed by our respective meals, and chocolate cake and creme brulee. All was excellent. What took it over the top was the service. When ordering cocktails, my partner had requested C&C which they didn’t have…who would ever guess they would run out to get it! Robert visited our table several times, from welcoming us, taking our drink orders, to explaining what the meal options were, making something special in the realm of the sashimi to meet my partner’s desires, to the dessert combo that covered my interests. We felt like we were valued friends coming in, and were made very welcome. It was a little more expensive than some meals, but the quality of the food, the service, and the setting were well worth it. I can’t wait to back on my next visit. Incidentally, they have won Trip Advisor Awards for the last two years running - easy to see why!

NO CONTEST!!!!!

As a Mexican, I feel very proud that places like this one exist and give our country the name and place it deserves. This restaurant is a gem and if you choose to go to ONE restaurant in town, this should be the one. The food is extraordinary, just perfect. The service is just as great too, the owner Robert is in the kitchen and the main room and comes to all the tables to greet, chat and let you know about the menu and how the food is cooked. His desctiptions alone are a huge treat. The menu is vast and the options are incredible, you might be lucky and get a special treat from the chef too. One of the most amazing things about this place is that not only the food and service are unreal, but there is also a story behind. Roberto grew up in Puerto Vallarta just a few blocks away from his restaurant. He worked in the industry and worked his way up to finally owning his very own restaurant. He is a very kind and fun person. We can’t recommend this place more. Absolutely outstanding!

Best meal in PV

After reading reviews we had dinner here on our last night. It was just a block away from our condo but is easily passed by unless looking for it. Very small place which is part of the ambiance. The martinis were excellent and service top notch. Complimentary chips & salsa, tequila and dessert. I ordered the seared tuna and it was the best I ever had. My husband had the red snapper filet with white sauce which we both thought was a little dry but still tasty. Even though we received the free dessert (which was surprising) we ordered flan to go which was delicious. For 3 martinis, 2 dinners, flan and all the complimentary items our total was about $70 US. Highly recommend this place over the tourist traps.

Awesome Dinner!!

I wanted to try this place based on reviews on Trip Advisor. It was a bit of a chore to find the place but once we did it was Great! We started with the drinks of the night. My wife had the Martini, because at a place named Martini en Fuego you just have to! And I had the Passion fruit Margarita. Both were Great, we each had a couple. I wanted to try the Caesar Salad, but knew it would be to much food with my meal. Luckily we were surprised with a small one, it was great, just the right amount! For our meals my wife had the Lobster Fajitas and I had the Snapper with shrimp. Both were Amazing, Best Lobster we’ve ever had! Roberto did stop by our table which was great! Our waiter brought us a surprise desert that was awesome. Seemed like a red wine poached nectarine with ice cream. It was Great! Service was great until we wanted our check. Asked 3 times and took 40 minutes, but it was still a great meal! A must try in PV!

Best “new to us” restaurant in PV this year. We decided to try this restaurant based on TripAdvisor and loved it. We ended up coming back a second time. Roberto‘s food is amazing

Great new addition to our PV Favorites!

We’ve been coming to PV for 28 years and have our normal list of favorites but wanted to try some new spots this year - Well Martini en Fuego is now on our Favorites! Small intimate and cozy place. Bar drinks great but it was the food that we loved. Seafood mostly. Must try the seafood soup - sublime with a grilled half lobster on top. Mussels were delicious. Seafood pasta, Diablo shrimp, fish Roberto sauce - all delicious. We will be returning!

Consistently Amazing!!

Roberto has cooked for us since he was in Mismeloya. It is not surprising to me at all that his downtown restaurant is one of the top places to eat in Puerto Vallarta!! The food is consistently great, always with something new and we have never left without feeling like family!! Thank you for another amazing meal and great evening!!

The best of all our meals

Amazing food. We stumbled into this place fairly early, so we didn't have a reservation. We were treated to one of the best meals of my life. Amazing. Go here.

OMG, the best

Out of 14 nights, this was by far the best. We came back the second night. Roberto and his staff are fabulous. The food was the best we’ve had. Make a reservation, it’s a small place.
