Best mocha, frappuccino, and chocolate cake
Best mocha and frappuccino thus far over Starbucks and the Italian Coffee in the area. We also ordered a slice of one of the best chocolate cakes.

Stopped for refreshing drinks. Wow. We had a Smoothie with mango, Fresa Naaranja, so good. So refreshing. My daughter got a coke and the red velvet cake. The cake was perfection. Side bar: ladies room was spotless. Definately will go back. Highly recommend.

I love eating outside on the Paseo. The food is good and the service is bordering on super good. The owner is a sweetheart. May they have continued success. You will be safe here during the pandemic, they take super cautious care of their clients...

Great cafe here...
My husband and I have vacationing in Merida for two months and have tried several coffee shops - and Marago Coffee is by far the best! Capuccino and Espresso are fantastic - we stop by a few times a week for cafe. The restaurant is very clean, there’s outdoor seating and the owners are terrific (super friendly and helpful!). Would definately recommend... ! Enjoy.

Excellent coffee place on Paseo Montejo
Consistently my go to place for a nice coffee break and some food. It is nice for meeting with friends as well as a space for working. Will keep coming back.

Great stop for breakfast and coffee
Marago is an ideal spot to begin your stroll along Paseo de Montejo. We wanted to go early in the day before it got too hot and hoped to find someplace for morning coffee early on... and came across this little gem. It is bright and clean with excellent coffee - plus great choices for breakfast. I had delicious French toast; my husband had an egg dish. All good! Service was friendly and efficient; our waitress had some English to work with our "poquito" Spanish and we had a fun interchange - some waitpersons are irritated by that. A great stop!

Go to place for coffee and a light meal.
This place was my go to place in Merida for coffee and a light meal. The coffee was always excellent as was the Match Frio and the light meals we ate here were always great. Best of all though, the owner and wait staff were always a pleasure to deal with and the restaurant is a comfortable and well air conditioned modern space.
