Much cheaper than El Pirata, and just as good!!

So, after going to El Pirata numerous times for breaded shrimp, I decided to venture out.. I found myself at Brisas. First, the shrimp were almost 100 pesos CHEAPER.. that’s quite a bit. I enjoyed everything about this place, and it wasn’t packed like El Pirata and I didn’t have to wait. This will be my go to from now on instead.

Usually our first stop when arriving to Playa del Carmen

Really good, basic and flavourful foods. We had grilled shrimp - well cooked and nice size. Friendly people and good service. Casual place.

Loved this place

I got obsessed with this place on my weeks stay. The seafood is amazing ans at really good prices. I had the seafood platter and it was delicious. Just one block from 5th Avenue and you can just see the sea - would highly recommend

Wonderful Shrimp Cocktail

We really enjoyed sharing this huge shrimp cocktail. Perfectly cooked shrimp. Very tasty. A large quantity of,shrimp. The best shrimp cocktail we've had here in Playa. We also enjoyed sharing a nice order of chicken fajitas. This definitely is not a restaurant to be missed.

Amazing food and service with nice wine!

We stumbled upon this place during our 6 week stay in Playa Del Carmen. We were coming back from Cozumel and were beer’ed out and we want a glass of wine. This is on a side street up from 5th Avenue and it looked pleasant. We only wanted a glass of wine each and they were very accommodating. We had 2 glasses each while watching people walk by. The wine was quite good and for only 45 pesos a glass. At that price, it was excellent wine! We came back several times after that and ordered food as well as the wine. Every time, the meal was excellent, very well priced and attentive service. The seafood ceviche was absolutely outstanding. We ordered that a few times. This was an amazing find and when we return next year, we will definitely be heading to Las Brisas again. I am already missing that ceviche!
