So much fun, good food, casual, local ambiance!

Fish of the day cooked to order, garlic prawns, cold margs and cervasas at local family run restaurant at Barra de Potosi. Steps to the water, a beautiful breeze blowing through the open air enmarada! Kudos to the folks here as it gets busy at times and service is great. Ask for Pancho !!

Lunch with family

Great place on the beach—good food and great prices —excellent Margaritas.Barra also has a festival every year which we went to it was really good and lots of local made things to buy.

Try the pulpo (octopus)!

We thought this was the very best Enramada in Barra! The food was all excellent, the service was friendly and it's very close to the beach with excellent views.

Sea to Table

La Condesa was recommended by Javier, our cab driver. He took us there and stayed with us, while we enjoyed a day at the Laguna. Our lancha driver got some fresh fish from a fisherman whose net was tangled and he helped out. The host of La Condesa was awesome. He welcomed us staying there all day and also cooked our fresh fish. It’s a great place to relax and just hang out. It’s a bit far from Ixtapa but a wonderful experience! We felt like we were locals. We even got to witness some turtle eggs getting rescued!

Our dining room!

Would usually eat mid afternoon. loved the vibe especially on weekends. Great guac, fish and cold beer. Pancho is the owner and works incredibly hard. Nice man also.All staff do a great job and welcome back repeat customers. The whole fish is my favourite along with their homemade fries!

Great food right on the beach!

We got here at 5:55 and they close at 6 but Fernando invited us in, let us choose our fish to grill and served us a whole red snapper grilled with garlic. We had beans and rice and of course guacamole. While we waited we had a swim. Wonderful time. So delicious! Thanks for the great meal!

Everything you want from a beach front Enramada

We spent a few days in Barra de Potosi in a rented guest house a few hundred meters up the beach from La Condesa. La Condesa provided the perfect place to while away the hours, sipping micheladas and eating ridiculously fresh and affordable sea food while the kids played in the ocean. The service is personable and relaxed. The owners helped make sure that we could find a table near the beach to make it easier to keep an eye on the kids. There were a number of venders making the rounds with typical wares from named bracelets to hammocks and shells. Unlike in bigger towns, the sales pitches were soft and never pushy - causing us to actually make more unnecessary purchases, which we enjoyed. The food is vey fresh and carefully prepared. I particularly recommend asking about what fish they have besides the typical snapper (huachinango). Nothing wrong with the snapper, but they had even better choices during our visit. For non seafood lovers, they also had delicious sopes and other menu choices. This place is really everything that we hoped for to help us enjoy a few blissful days in a beautiful part of Mexico.
