Quaint little Restaurant
Great little hideaway. Very clean! Menu is very unique. Some dishes I've never seen before. The people were very friendly. I hope this restaurant is a success!

A hidden gem
Enjoyed a fabulous meal this evening at a hidden gem just a few blocks from home. La Cenaduria de la Tia Lola is fairly new to Maz although they have had a Mexico City location for about 20 years. Senji Maquita and his mom Lola served us some of their special dishes including Ixcanul (a dish of plantain, beans, pork and cheese), Margarita Maza & Rielera (two different kinds of stuffed chicken) and Enchilada Suiza and everything was flavourful, beautifully presented, and reasonably priced. I can see this becoming one of our favourite places.

Excellent New Addition To Mazatlan
Visited this new spot with a party of nine. We had heard about it from friends that live in Mazatlan. Their recommendation was spot on. The restaurant is in a converted house and is lovely. The chef was engaging and answered many questions about each dish, it’s ingredients and how it is prepared. We had a chef in our party and he loved learning about the menu. No alcohol but you can bring your own. They feature a regional menu with the taste of Mexico City. Everyone enjoyed their meal with the Pambazo being a huge hit. I think they only serve the Pambazo on Friday and Saturday. I had a chicken dish that was excellent. Will be going back and trying more of the menu.
