Need to come in very hungry !

It is a large restaurant with a beautiful Old Mexican motive. May not have the greatest caustic, but Mariachi music sounds great ! But the best is the food and service !!! Chamoro ( pig’s shank) is the winner ! Captain Enrique with his fatherly attitude will make you feel at home and is running a very efficient place. But if you are lucky and get Anthelmo as a waiter ( better request him) you will have a treat. One of the most efficient , knowledgeable and curtious waiters we have encountered. On a second visit, even after few months, he will remember what was your order--a trade than only few waiters can master !!! Go and enjoy !!!

Great meals and Service

Over the years this restaurant has made great strides in being one of the top restaurants at El Cid. Captain Enrique works well with his staff and it shows in the great service and food. Best steak at resort. Always cooked to perfection. Love their shrimp soup. Always go to place.

Definitely didn’t leave hungry

One of the greatest things about Mexico is the food. So imagine my excitement to go to a really good one at the resort. It is a really cool looking restaurant, very much a Mexican decor to state the obvious. Now the greatest thing ever, a Taco Bar. This spells trouble as I hit it pretty hard. I ordered the Shank. It was massive. It was soo good. I ate it all and then had to go for a long walk afterwards. The service was great. I would definitely go out of my way to go here again.

La Casada "El Cid

Our favourite restaurant at El Cid. Never disappointed with the food and service is excellent. They make you feel welcome. From the captain Enrique (he’s the best, so friendly and genuine) All the waiters were wonderful. Sanson, Entelmo, Geramo and they had a female waitress and she was excellent. (Just forgot her name. Sorry) All has a good buffet for breakfast and our server Alexis was excellent. ( He remembered us from the El Patio)

Coconut Shrimp!!!

This is the highlight for me in Mazatlán. On our first visit to Mazatlán, we discovered that this place had gigantic Coconut Shrimp. We ordered a plate of these shrimp from the menu and out came 20 shrimp on a plate. I thought I had died and gone to heaven. Accompanied by a sweet sour sauce, makes for a unique dining experience. There are other items on the menu like small cheeseburgers and French fries but the shrimp is the ultimate feast. This is located out by the pool so you can enjoy the scenery while munching the shrimp delicacy. Oh, you might try the Banana Mama drink...quite refreshing if you like bananas.

Great time

Everything was excellent! Noe and Ramon provided nothing but premium service! Every need and want was exceeded! Flexibility and going the extra mile was par for the course. Reservations were seamless, they let us change rooms if we wanted a different view, the food was excellent (I recommend the grilled octopus), food was customized if you wanted it without complaint, and never had to ask Ramon for anything twice (it was like he read our mind) without being overbearing and intrusive. Their manner is friendly without being fake.
