The most fun!

We went to dinner with a group of friends a couple of days ago and it was great! The food was great, but mostly Jesse and his crew were the best! I loved the decor. It, and Jesse, were just charming all the way around! I look forward to the next visit!

If you want something uniquely different you have to try Jesse’s. It’s a little hard to find but that’s part of the fun.

Our new most favored food experience

Wow. Online comments drove us to stop by for lunch and what a pleasant surprise. The ambiance is amazing with decor I can’t explain, you have to experience it to understand. As a teaser, there are ducks and rabbits in an adjacent area. The food was by far best tasting we have experienced over the many decades coming to Rocky Point. Chili Rellenos shrimp/cheese/bacon, Chili Rellenos polo and Enchiladas polo were our choices. The visual, flavors and textures made me think I was on Food Network tasting TV chef stuff. The complementary mescal taster tray rounded out the meal splendidly. We will be back tomorrow when the rest of the family arrives. You will be pleased!

UNIQUE

Worth the drive! So glad we discovered this unique restaurant. The decor is amazing. So colorful and captivating. Jessee is a wonderful host. The food gets 5-stars and the service is exceptional. You have to go inside to experience the uniqueness of this place. When you first get there you will wonder ..... just go inside and prepare yourself for great food/drinks. BTW, CASH ONLY.

Great place.

Jesse's is such a fun place to visit. The food is so delish and the atmosphere is special. One of our favorites restaurants in Puerto Penasco. Go enjoy some good food and a good time. You will not regret it!! Yummy!

At First I wondered where we were going! We we pulled in front I thought"this is it?" Not much to look at !

Inside was clean, inviting, and had such a fun atmosphere. The margaritas were perfect! I ordered a poblano stuffed with shrimp cheese and a very tasty sauce. Everyone ordered something different and we all loved our food.! The service was also excellent I can’t wait to go again. A little hidden gem off the beaten path. Try it you will not be diasapointed.

Absolute favorite

Started coming to Jesse’s many years ago, when the place was very different. A little challenging to find, and back in the ’hood to be sure but very welcoming and comfortable! Sort of ’indoor/outdoor’ but these days a lot more indoor, and protected from the elements. Charming, (Jesse is a great guy!) with delicious food. Favorites include chili rellenos, enchiladas, and shrimp dishes. You can mix up the shrimp too; fried, broiled in butter & garlic, coconut, etc. Sweet dog rescue ’courtyard’ in back. Mostly chihuahuas (mucho!) with a big, friendly ’guard’ dog as well, plus ducks, chickens, and bunnies. You may visit the animals back there (I always do) but no more feeding them. Romantic for two, great for larger groups and celebrations although we always call ahead for parties. Always a favorite!

Hidden gem in Rocky Point!

We love Jesse and his restaurant! The food is fabulous and Jesse is always warm and welcoming. Such a fun and unique place - it's one of our favorite places for lunch!!

Jesse’s Carreta Offers Something for Everyone

This was my first visit to Jesse’s Carreta and I was not disappointed. Jesse offer’s everything from Burgers and Tortas, to Tacos and Fajitas. Nicely size portions for very reasonable price. Very clean and oh so Mexican flavor to the decorations. We will be back for seconds, thirds, fourths............. Another plus for me was running into a former co-worker I hadn’t seen in over 10 years. Arizonan’s Love Puerto Penasco.
