Real sushi by real sushi chefs
Ok so this is the most important review you will read. I am a sushi expert. Ive eaten sushi in 9 different countries including Japan. So this place is not located closeby the tourists attractions, but dont let that discourage you. If you venture off to downtown Cancun, you will find Irori. The price is reasonable, but the quality is superb. Ive eaten in atleast 6 other japanese reataurants in Cancun. This place blows them out of the water. I found out its family owned, and the family itself has deep japanese roots and culture. Dont expect a commercial japanese franchise. This is a real deal quality japanese restaurant with a touch of home. Its also worth noting, the restaurant is partitioned in various sections so it is not noisy like others ive visited in Cancun.

Great food and attention
Probably the best Asian restaurant in Cancun downtown. Extensive menu with great quality and good attention. I highly recommend the "exotic" sushi roll if you like bitter-sweet taste.

Great balance of everything
Welcome, Service, présentation, taste, price. I had the exotic, spicy tuna, spider roll. The waiters were professional, respectful. The presentation of the plate was amazing
