Seven years since opening, IGUANA HOSTEL is well known among backpackers for its family, chilled out and fun atmosphere. People come to the Iguana for two nights and they stay for two weeks... This is because Iguana Hostel can host only up to 27 people, so it's easy to make friends to share fun with, and we will always take good care of you. Our main asset is our staff: travellers on the road, who love making friends, and speak your language. The IGUANA HOSTEL is situated in a historic Barrio del Cerrillo, with a panoramic view from the terrace. The hostel is located near Santo Domingo a church surrounded and a colourful handcraft market, 2 blocks from the public market and only 7 minutes walk from the very heart of the city: la Catedral and el Parque Central.Loading ...

Amazing
The best hostel in Chiapas. I stay 4night and it was amazing. The staff is incredible and a very nice ambiance. I recommend this hostel for everybody. The place is very clean and there is a good terrace.

ROOFTOP nice location hostel
This hostel is situated outside the busy/loud center of San Cristobal and has a AWESOME rooftop to relax, read, exercise, sun bath, eat and much more. Reaaallly cheap. 120pesos per night in dormitorio and the team is really funny and helpfull. I stayed here for more than 2 weeks and everyday I went on the rooftop to catch the sun in the morning. Truly recommended :)

Best Hostel in San Cristobal de las Casas
Best Hostel around San Cristobal de Las Casas. An amazing location and surrounding area. This is the base camp for visit the old town. San Cristobal de las Casas is quit chilly. Ait is run by a family and it has a lot of details they put a lot of good energy (Los Mundo)

Holiday in San cristobal
I had a magical time at Iguana hostel while I was a guest there, location is great, right by the markets and close to the center. I think from the terrace you can have the best view of san cristobal! the garden is beautiful and cozy ideal to share time togheter and make friends. Ideal para mochileros

Amazing time at iguana
Iguana hostel has been wonderful, what a fantastic base for exploring San cristobal! Beds are comfy, showers are very nice, the kitchen is clean and fully stocked, comfy chill out areas and most importantly the atmosphere and people are great!
