Hotel Posada Maria Luisa

This hotel is in a great location and also great value for money. It is a charming quaint hotel that is probably a 3 star with 5 star staff. We booked 2 rooms a family room and a double room. The double room number 2 was on the ground floor with window onto the inner courtyard but was a little small and stuffy although there was air conditioning. The family room was large and comfortable with windows onto the street. The breakfast was very tasty and the staff were excellent very helpful and friendly. We left a suitcase behind which contained expensive clothes and bag when we left for the airport and the staff helped organize a taxi to deliver the suitcase to the airport. We attended a family wedding in the beautiful San miguel Arcangel so stayed at the wedding venue on the second night and returned to the this hotel on the third night. This hotel is family owned and during your stay you will feel like part of this family. The whole family is very nice. They can give you good tips on where to go to eat, what to see and what not to miss. If you need later check out, they do their best for you. The rooms are in rustic style and very clean. The only thing that could matter for you is big windows leading to the patio, so you receive a lot of light during night (even theough curtains). Breakfast is the best. You get to choose between eggs and chilaquiles, both prepared well. This is accompanied by the best coffee i have tried in Mexico and freshly squeezed orange juice. The hotel has very nice rooftop terrace where you can enjoy the city view 24/7. Parking lot is situated further from the hotel, but staff will show you where to park or even offer you to take your car there. I highly recommend this hotel! I have never felt during my stays in hotels like if i am staying home, which i did here. …
