For the price, this is hard to beat: Hotel Maria de Lourdes is located in the centro, within walking distance of the mercado and plaza. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and warm water is available (you may not even want it in the summer -- the heat is sweltering in this region). A single room with fan only is 330 pesos, whereas a room with both fan and air conditioning is 380 pesos (a steal!). Save parking is available in the back.
