Took road trip to mascota and Talpa..picked this hotel ..close to town centre..nice clean quiet and cheap..restaurant has awesome food as is service..cheap eats and huge plates of food..wifi good as well as hotel staff..don’t miss this one..

Recomendado al 100 calido y acogedor dentro del pueblito preciso para descansar solo, con amigos o familia las atenciones de lo mejor. Invitado a volver sin duda alguna. Proxima visita a talpa indudablemente sera para descansar en hotel los arcos.

We highly recommend this hotel & their "El Patio" restaurant located just a few minutes walk to the Main Plaza & Church. The entire staff was extremely friendly & treated us like family. Their rooms surround a spacious courtyard that is perfect to relax in after a day or visiting the only Maple Forest in Mexico. Walking through town you can experience the many shops making guayaba candy & preserves plus locally made leather goods. You never need to wear a watch, since the church bells sound every 15 minutes. We suggest you stay for at least 3 nights to absorb all the flavors of Talpa & it’s nearby places of interest. We were fortunate to discover this colonial Mexican Town while traveling the back roads, just 3 hours by public bus from Puerto Vallarta.

This charming and friendly hotel has 40 rooms and a few suites surrounding a courtyard and fountain where you can relax. The decor is Mexican with cheerful, bright colors and art. The hotel is located just three blocks from the Church of Guadalupe and the main plaza. Archways lead to the lobby and the restaurant. Two brothers, Alfredo and Jesus Garcia built the hotel and Alfredo’s original art hangs on the walls throughoutof the restaurant and lobby. The restaurant servers a variety of delicious food at very reasonable prices. Room rates range from 300-500 pesos. The rooms have TV and WiFi. We can’t wait to go back and explore more backroads away from Puerto Vallarta to find places like Talpa.
