amazing food, hole in the wall type of place

Our food was so good. Such a great price for authentic Mexican food! It looks like a hole in the wall but the food is so fresh and tasty. We sat upstairs and the ambiance was like a Hacienda feel.

Amazing food with a local vibe

We loved this place and would return. The food is the best authentic Mexican food I’ve had so far on this trip. The restaurant has personality and the staff was very thoughtful and respectful. Only consideration, the neighborhood is not what you would expect. We felt safe the whole time and Uber worked well. However it’s in a poor section of town, so the restaurant is the only thing there.

Great Price! Great Food! Great Local People!

This was my favorite place in San Jose. After the first two nights at Flora-Farm, and Tamarindos both are excellent. This place stole the show! Tacos El Pastor the best! From the food, price to the excellent staff Guacamaya's was a winner.

Outstanding Local Food with Flare

Outstanding local atmosphere, food, and music. Went on a local recommendation - well worthwhile. Appetizers including the rolled cheese were amazing. My bride went for the volcanoes and I went for one of the pork specialties recommended by the server. We were stuffed but added a strawberry churro because we could. Outstanding all the way around!

Incredible food, great prices

Loved our dinner at guacamaya! Great recommendations from the waiter. We got the stuffed potato, the mixed meat molcajete, and the chicharron quesadilla and it was enough for 4 of us. There was also live music, and the singer was great. Happy to have been here!

Great place to eat in Cabo

This place drew us in with its atmosphere and charm and the food did not disappoint. We were able to meet the owner and he was very friendly and fun to chat with. Delicious and affordable lunch and cocktails.
