Simply Amazing Food
This is a charm in the old section of Queretaro, a must go-to-eat place to get authentic Mexican and Oaxacan food. We tried several different dishes and every one was excellent. I usually do not order Mole, but their Mole was the best I have ever tasted. You also need to try the Botanas, and the tostadas were so good. And they have several enormous selections of Tlayudas. They do not serve alcohol, but very nice selection of Aguas Frescas. We got totally stuffed with excellent food for a table of 6, and the total was only US$108. I am positively going to return to this restaurant every time I return to Queretaro as there are so many other menu choices I need to try. It is an older building with a lot of interesting pictures, but the food is superb.

Más allá del paraíso/Beyond paradise.
Este lugar merece más allá de cinco estrellas. Lo diré en pocas palabras, la atención y la comida son más allá de extraordinaria y deliciosas. William, uno de los miembros de la familia dueña de este restaurante y que gentilmente nos atendió además nos ha explicado detalladamente el origen de este lugar y el origen de la comida que hemos pedido. En tu visita a Querétaro debes parar aquí. Ampliamente recomendado. A partir de ahora será mi lugar favorito en Querétaro para comer. This place deserves a five+ star rating. I will say this in a few words, the attention and the food are more than extraordinary and delicious. William, one of the members of the family in charge of this place who gave us amazing service explained the Origen story of this place and the food in a very detailed way. When you visit Querétaro you should definitely try this place out. I really recommend. From now on this will be my favorite place to eat in Querétaro.

Excellent food & service
Looking for authentic food and great service? This is the place. We had café de olla, authentic chocolate from Oaxaca, pan de yema, mole, blue tortillas... The staff is really helpful in explaining the different dishes. Highly recommended!!!

Great find to try great authentic Oaxacan food
We love this little restaurant in the historical part of Querétaro. The owner and staff were very attentive, and willing to spend time to discuss and explain the food on the menu. The food is presented in a very traditional manner and is simply delicious. The drinks are also very traditional and great tasting.
