Best shrimp ever!!

We came here for their Thanksgiving dinner but the friendly service and delicious seafood was so good we came back 3 more times. The shrimp, octopus and really EVERYTHING was perfectly seasoned and so so delicious!! Our final meal was the seafood platter and it did not disappoint :-) Huge shout out to Thomas, he recommended us food, cocktails and even activities in the area, and he was right every time!

Consistent Meals over Time With Exceptional Service

Over the years both at the older location by the square and this newer location on the main street of Puerto Morelos i have had any number of meals at the Pirata restaurant. I cannot think of one bad meal. I used to have an older gentleman as the server for a number of years . The quality of service and food is good and consistent as well. As well the restaurant seems to try to be innovative in these difficult Covoid times. They hold one night a week a trivial pursuit evening.

Best local joint in PUERTO

So the food can’t be beat in puerto Morelos. Been coming here to PM for years add it’s consistently one of the best places in town. Bravo all around. Steak is A+. Drinks are A++++++. You’re lucky to eat here.

Amazing food and service

Just finished an amazing dinner with a large group at El Pirate. The owner Karla was amazing and so sweet. Thomas was an amazing server and so nice and friendly. We had a group of almost 30 and everyone left full and happy. The fish and shrimp tacos were scrumptious and the fajitas were amazing with incredible presentation. Stop by and try them out if your in the area. You won’t regret it.

THE PAELLA!!

Had not tried the paella at El Pirata so we decided to go and check it out. It is delicious. Too bad its only on Saturdays.

Paella special was delicious

Paella special was delicious and the kids loved their grilled shrimp plate. Excellent customer service. Loved the little touches that makes this place stand out from others.

BEST SERVICE IN MEXICO!

The service was soooo nice! Thomas was putting green food coloring in the drinks like we asked because it was a tradition in the family on st Patricks day. Drinks were amazing. He also had conversations with the servers and got to know them better. I recommend if you like nice people, good drinks and good food. Give your servers a raise.
