Ask for Angel

It took us several times but we absolutely love this place. The lamb chops are amazing. We also enjoy the Steak Diane. Ask for Angel you won’t be disappointed.

Alejandro is AMAZING!!!

Outstanding food, first class service, awesome atmosphere, the perfect evening. Dinner at this restaurant was the most delicious food. Alejandro made our night. The quality of his service was outstanding. His kindness and his attentiveness was heart warming.

Excellent food exceptional service!

The food was excellent! We had the surf & turf and salmon as our main entrees. Both items were delicious. the Maya café flameado was amazing! However, our waiter Alejandro made our dinner experience unforgettable. He was simply the best. We will definitely come back.

Exquisite Dining Experience

It is a fine dining, intimate little restaurant that makes one’s vacation complete. Angel, my waiter the first night I went, prepared Steak Diane table side. He also recommended the roasted red pepper soup, which was out of this world delicious! The salad was just as good. Having soup, salad and dessert meant I had to take much of my entree back with me. But it warmed up well in the microwave a couple nights later. Dining at El Conquistador is like going back in time when having dinner was an experience that you looked forward to all day and enjoyed every minute of the evening. Angel professionally prepared the Steak Diane table side and a couple weeks later, he made Bananas Foster table side. In addition to watching table side prepared dishes on select evenings you will be treated the beautiful guitar music provided by long-time house guitarist, Jorge Duran.

Darwin and Crew were exceptional as was Jorge taking requests!!

Our food was fanciful and tasteful. The bus boy was so fast and on the ball! I think his name was Fernando. Darwin made cherries jubilee and it was delicious. Our husbands asked us to dance and it was amazingly shocking and we were tearful at this wonderful evening of surprises! We had lava cake and ice cream also. Prior to that I had filet and it was perfect as Darwin suggested Medium instead of Medium well as I thought I would need. He knew what I wanted. We had the chicken and beet salad and we felt it might be a cornish game hen, possibly. Darwin and his crew were fun and the COOKS should be commended as well for their tasty work! Jorge took requests and of course unchained melody he recreated on the spot and HOTEL CALIFORNIA. Priceless! Thank you- you are a true professional! California Couples

Fantastic Dinner as Always

We always love El Conquistador and tonight did not disappoint as usual. The food was amazing and Alejandro’s service was impeccable. He was above and beyond with the table side service and he even found chicken nuggets for our daughter even though it wasn’t on the menu. If you’re ever in Cancun, highly recommend dining here.

Amazing

Amazing service and amazing hospitality. Our waiter Alex was so catering and attentive. We never had to ask for a anything because his attention to detail was above and beyond. We will definitely be coming back. Hands down the best food and service.
