Beautiful hotel, amazing service

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay in El Callejon. The hotel is set in a lush garden that’s absolutely gorgeous. We couldn’t have received a warmer welcome from David, who sat us down with maps when we checked in. He asked what things we wanted to see and do, and gave us the best recommendations and tips!! We thought at first the hotel may be a little far off the beaten path, but it is a pretty quick walk to the main sights. The only thing I would recommend is to get better soundproofing for the junior suites on the ground floor. We did hear noise above us, but the hotel provided a fan that helped at night. The breakfast was amazing, and make sure to get cocktails from the bar! The best we had in Oaxaca.

Beautiful hotel in a beautiful city

The hotel is very close to the center of Oaxaca. We enjoyed our time there very much. The staff is nice, the hotel is clean and beautifully furnished. We would definitely go there again. The garden is well maintained and looks very nice in the evening.

Incredible service, beautiful hotel, great location

We just stayed here and were amazed by the quality of service, from the hotel manager to the cleaning staff to the bartender to the waiters. Everyone was great. They also have implemented some very good COVID prevention standards. The hotel itself is small but very nicely laid out with lots of vegetation inside and a modern design in each area. Food is great too. Location-wise it’s just a few blocks away from the city center, just a few minutes of walking. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

An outstanding hotel in the northern part of town- one of our all-time favorites.

The previous great reviews were well-founded, and we enjoyed our stay immensely. Here were the highlights: - Wonderful staff throughout, friendly, very helpful, and very good at their jobs. - Lovely setting and very quiet, with beautiful plants and trees. - Very comfortable suite with everything we could want, including very nice furnishings and decorations, and an excellent bathroom. - Great location away from the bustle of the main town, but close enough to walk to the main city sites and some excellent restaurants. - Secure locked garage parking for our rental car. - Delicious breakfasts under the trees, with plenty of choices.
