Fresh and So Tasty!
What a hidden gem in La Cruz! We shared a BLT and a hamburger and both were completely delicious! The BLT came on a cheese bagel and the hamburger came with wonderful skinny fries! Fresh food takes time to prepare so it could take awhile but oh...it is worth it! And the cost was very very reasonable.

Delicious Mexican Cuisine - My wife and I had been here for breakfast a few times over the years and were never disappointed! We decided to go there for dinner tonight and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. It’s a family run restaurant and they treat their customers like family as well. Lovely experience!

Husbands Birthday
We decided to have my husband’s birthday in this wonderful cafe. It was incredible! They prepared an authentic Mexican meal that was delicious. So many tasty dishes that certainly did not disappoint! Everything was decorated with balloons and banners making it so festive! Chocolate cake with a firework candle, and a hugh yummy Flan that Carlos made special!!! I cannot say how perfect this Birthday celebration was! The owners went out of their way to make it extremely special for us, and our friends! This is a small and quaint cafe, but it delivers big in food and flavor and hospitality!! We highly recommend, and look forward to our next visit!!

Our favourite
Though the description for this cafe is Breakfast/Brunch, we have stopped here for breakfast, mid-day coffee and dinner (6:00-11:00; Wed-Sun). We have never been disappointed. Cachorro, the amiable owner, always welcomes us warmly and his whole family are busy behind the scene. The coffee offerings are excellent; the breakfast delicious. For dinner, I’d certainly recommend any burrito that suits your fancy, but especially shrimp. The Huaraches are also very good, but you might need to order two! As others have mentioned, the fries ( not from a frozen supply ) are easily the best fries in town. Oh, and I’ve tried the chocolate cake and the cheesecake..both are scrumptious choices. Ask for a little jam for the cheesecake to complete it. The carrot cake looks to be a meal on its own!

The Best Breakfasts!
We went here three times! Loved the fresh juices,the cappuccinos and the food. Friendly service too. We had the vegetarian omelette on two occasions; it was delicious and served with potatoes. The other dishes ordered were also enjoyed by all. A must-have is the fruit cocktail with granola and yogurt. Fresh, ripe fruit was the focus...mmmm! Thank you Don Simone!
