About us

Beach front cafe and bar with great views of the main Sayulita beach. We offer fresh food including breakfast, lunch, all day snacks. We have indoor bar seating, and outdoor seating, with larger picnic table seating on the beach. We are open 7 days a week, from 8 am til late night, serving food and drink all day. We have live music several days a week, and offer availability for your private events and parties. We strive for fresh ingredients, buying our veggies, meats and seafood daily. Come down and enjoy the breeze of the ocean with the best people watching on the beach.

VERY yummy Pitta Pizza covered with bbq chicken and peanuts=5 stars!

I just had a GREAT meal here! Pitta Pizza with bbq chicken and peanuts, for only $100 pesos! What a great meal, and the place is beachfront. Sayulita is awesome.

The best smoothies and Tacos for Sayulita

Seafood Tacos and Tostadas, great smoothies and "BALAZOS" ouf of shrimps! AMAZING! Go and check for yourself its a great place to go and have a great meal with a good drink, the best part? it is in front of the beach!

Excellent Breakfast

We came here two mornings for breaker and the pancakes are great! Also as fresh OJ on ice and a coffee. Lovely Posters for sale and next to a surf shop is good people watching

Fantastic Beach Food

We stopped at El Break for the lovely ambiance and vibe - expecting to have a beer and maybe some nachos. We ended up having one of the best lunches we’ve had in Sayulita! I had the bacon and pork sandwich which was absolutely fabulous and my wife had the fish tacos which were exquisitely prepared. Many beach spots have spotty service - but the staff at El Break was great! They actually seemed extremely pleased to serve us! Stop in at El Break - you will be glad you did - great food, great service all with your feet in the sand!

All Around Excellent

Great spot! Location is amazing on the beach and also on the corner of a cute little street where you can watch the daily happenings go by. Great spot for family or kids as well with their many different seating options ranging from cute little tables on the concrete to big tables on the sand. Food was delicious and seems like they were always open.

Our everyday drinks place

We ended up here every day! Right on the beach, good service and great drinks. No wine, but that's ok. We had margarita's and beer. A great place to people watch on the beach and buy souvenirs from the vendors that stop by your table.

Great stop for beers and tequila

After wandering around the mercado, we headed to the beach. El Break is on the beach and on patio. Guys were super friendly, we didnt order food but the tequila and beer were yummy. Laid back atmospher and friendly service.

Try the Ranch Breakfast

Lovely shady spot right on the beach, great for people and surfer watching. I had the ranch breakfast which was excellent with lots of fresh vegetables to accompany the eggs and sausages. The people next to me had the rice bowls which looked really good and will definitely try next time. A nice meeting place and local stop.
