El Arco de Cabo San Lucas

This may be the most overrated tourist attraction in the world, but guilty as charged, visited the arch, took pictures, and enjoyed the day! This spot does offer some great scenery, wildlife, and amazing pictures. And nothing beats a nice boat ride on the water around the bay. Don’t fall for "tours to the arch". All you need is a boat, and you’ll get to see the arch and the beaches and animals that live right by it. It would be almost impossible to take a boat ride from the marina without seeing the arch. So, pick what YOU like to do on the water and the up-close view of the arch should be included. Tons and tons and tons of tours and water activities are offered on the boardwalk right by the marina. It feels like Cabo San Lucas is 99% tourists, so you should have no problem fitting right in. If you exit towards the downtown area, eventually you will find yourself around more locals, selling roadside tortas, tacos, burritos and more. If you visit on a Friday, you’ll see long lines of local employees at all of the banks, just like you used to see in the USA 20 or more years ago. But be sure to check out the arch before you leave the tourist zone or after you return to the tourist zone. And bring your camera!

These arches are so beautiful. We took a short boat tour out to see the rocks and fish. We didn’t get off at lovers beach but the views from the boat of the rocks and the beach were beautiful.

It is a must see location. we went there during a dinner cruise and it has been wonderful. more details on how to get there you can find in the Marina.

Vibe: Beautiful tranquility on the water

Access: Must be by boat, kayak, paddle board, SUP, etc.

Would I go again: Absolutely. I worry that with the big crack it has that it won’t be around forever.

A most good place you can not visit cabo without going to this place we had a private tour which was very reasonable pricing

We drove down to the Marina parked and walked to the docks where we asked for our guide for the day and we all boarded a glass bottom boat for El Arco. We got an up close view of El Arco and we were serenaded by a colony of seals. Our guide left us at lovers beach for two hours and we took some amazing pictures and walked a short distance to the Pacific side and Divorce beach. We went on a Thursday and it was not that crowded. Bring pesos for tips for your guide and the gentleman who will set you up on the beach

You can take a water taxi. It is beautiful but can be rocky as you get close to the pacific. Take Dramamine before just in case.
