Not worth the price and very small beach
Let me start with the positive .drinks were top shelf and Mojitos were amazing. The only thing is you had to go find your waiter, because he didn’t come to you very often. In the reviews I read and pictures of menus listed on reviews, lobster and red snapper were included. We would have to pay extra if we wanted it. You get one single plate of food which is not that good. You are paying $162 plus for a tiny strip of beach with very little shade and a chair. You cannot relax, because you are constantly hounded every 30 seconds with someone who is selling something and they keep coming back and back and back and back and back! If this has been a much cheaper price, it would’ve been worth it. But for the price you pay, there needs to be a lot more included. Two days before, we were in Cozumel and paid half this price and got three times more in a much more beautiful setting. I do not usually write bad views, but I cannot recommend this at all. I hate for someone else to make the same mistake that we did.

Day in Costa Maya
We had a relaxing day at Pez Quadro. It was great to get away from the cruise ship pier and see the beach in Costa Maya. Food and service was fantastic - highly recommend the ceviche.

A Wonderful & Relaxing Day
The cab fare was only $4.person, and the check-in process was very quick and smooth. We had the linguini with lobster and the shrimp fajiitas, and they were 2 of the best meals ever. What a great lunch! The beach and service were fantastic, and we plan on returning on our next visit. It has no pool, but it was still a fun day at the beach.

Truly relaxing day at the beach
This is a very nice beach club. There were plenty of very comfortable chairs as well as shade if you liked.
The service was excellent - barely had to think about asking for another drink and they were right there! The lunch was fabulous - I had chicken tacos with plenty of diced white meat chicken.
The location is great too. At the end of the boardwalk so it was easy to take a stroll to check things out.
Only negative aspect was the constant vendors - about every 15 seconds someone was walking by trying to sell massages, cigars, hats, jewelry. You said no and they moved on but it was just constant.

Favorite destination on cruise
We had originally wanted to go to Maya Chan but they were closed for a private event that day and recommended Pez Quadro. We were not disappointed.
Pez Quadro provided very clear instructions for finding taxis at the port, and it was just a short $8 cab ride each way. Their resort is fairly small but had plenty of chairs, a fair amount of shade, and great service. The beach was beautiful- the turquoise water you hope for in the Caribbean- and was extremely calm and shallow for a very long way out. It was perfect for my baby and toddler. The standard $45 package includes soft drinks, smoothies, and milkshakes (the smoothies were good although I wasn’t sure if the water was okay to drink there so I stopped after half of one), and one meal. There are plenty of meal options to choose from and the food was pretty good.
They offer massages, but it’s cheaper if you book on site versus in advance. My mother-in-law had one and enjoyed it.
Overall I’d definitely recommend Pez Quadro and would also go back.

Lovely spot
We booked this through Trip Advisor because it was fairly expensive and if for some reason you couldn’t go , you could cancel with 24 hours notice. We DID go and we had a thoroughly enjoyable day. When we first arrived, the small area of sun beds was fairly empty and we did wonder if anyone could wander in but we saw Perfirio and he checked us in with wristbands. Some people had different colour bands and they could have soft drinks and a one course meal. We paid more and could have alcoholic drinks and the meal. Perfirio was very attentive and brought us a continuous stream of drinks. We went into the restaurant and could choose anything on the menu. We both had the grilled grouper with garlic sauce, fresh vegetables and fries. It was delicious. The sea was lovely, very shallow and safe. By the time we left, at 3.30 it was nicely buzzy, mainly with people who were staying in the attached hotel. The taxi fare was $4 per person one way. All in all, it was a very happy day on a lovely beach.
