Annual dinner at Cielitos

As usual the food was amazing! They have the best coconut shrimp on the island. Everyone enjoyed their meals. But the highlight of our dinner was our server Jonathan!! He was attentive but not overbearing and helped with some questions we had about the island. They should be proud to have such a wonderful server!!

Excellent food

We all ordered something different and it was all hot and great! I ordered the coconut shrimp and my cousin ordered the pork shank.Been there before and will go back again.

Bone Marrow, Oh My!

I have had the pleasure of having Chef Fernando as a private chef on my last 2 trips to Cozumel. He has grilled amazing seafood and vegetables for us in addition to serving some of the best ceviche I have had. We were on the island when Hurricane Grace passed last week. Chef reached out to check on us after the storm, and when we told him we had no power, he grilled up a feast and brought it back to Cozumel Beach House for us to dine by lantern light. Bravo, Chef! We were celebrating my friend’s 50th Birthday and took our 8 top to Cielito Grill for our last supper before returning home. We enjoyed outdoor seating with amazing cocktails to start. The menu is fresh and innovative. We ordered so many things to try! Everything was delicious. Chef Fernando and staff made a most memorable 50th celebration for our group. I can not wait to go back there again!

Fabulous fish!

I’ve always enjoyed meals at Cielito, but a few nights ago had one of the best meals I’ve ever had in Cozumel. I had the Mayan fish marinated with bitter orange and black dry chilies. Don’t shy away from it because it says "chilies". It is not hot, but just a very interesting flavor and the chef made it even better with a mix of other flavors. Of course, I also had my favorite drink, the tamarind margarita. Living here on Cozumel I don’t go out to eat a lot, but I will be back to try this again soon. The prices are very reasonable. The chef is to be congratulated.

Creative menu

Cielio’s is one of our island favorites (we have so MANY) and we make a point of stopping in each time we visit. My menu favorite is the Pork shank but you won’t be disappointed with anything else. Our waiter this time was Jonathon and he did a great job. Our grandson was celebrating his birthday and a mariachi band walked by and sang him happy birthday. His name is Owen and they said that it’s hard to say in Spanish so they sang it to poncho. We’ve been calling him poncho ever since!!!

Amazing Experience

The food was very very good! Not only was it beautiful and like art on a plate, the flavor profiles were phenomenal. High end food at a very reasonable price. The staff was very attentive. They even wiped the sweat from our drinks off the table. We ordered: 4 Moles (appetizer), Yucatán Pork and Poblano Pepper (entrees), and Lime Pie (dessert). The sweet tea is great as well, it was almost like an Arnold Palmer. Perfect portions.

Best dinner in Cozumel

The best place we ate in 2 weeks in Cozumel. Nice ambiance and extensive menu. Ricardo the waiter was welcoming, helpful and friendly. The mole sampler, poblano soup, bone marrow were wonderful. The prices were very reasonable. Thanks for a great dinner!

Coconut shrimp!!

We just had dinner this evening and loved it. My wife had the salmon and I had the coconut shrimp. 5 big coconut shrimp with mixed vegetables and mushroom rice. Fantastic! We started with a big order of guacamole and finished it with an order of churros served with vanilla ice cream. Ricardo was our waiter and gave us super service! Everything was great! Really nice!

Great food and great prices

Chef Fernando came highly recommended and they did not disappoint. We enjoyed lunch and dinner here during our stay. Service was very nice and location was easy to get to. Food and atmosphere are great and worth the trip.
