Tranquil and Beautiful
This is a lovely Cathedral in the heart of Historico. The architecture is amazing and the warmth of the building is encompassing.
Like other churches, they have gone to the ugly electronic ’rent-a-votive’ format..too bad, less than endearing. Overall, a lovely experience.

Majestic Catedral!
Great architecture. Very quiet and peaceful. Take your time and have a nice rest. It is open in the morning and in the afternoon.

Peace, Calmness and Beauty
I have visited Mazatlan numerous times and always include a visit to this stunning building. The amazing architecture and details blow me away every time I visit. You step into an oasis of peace and calmness smack dab in the middle of a bustling downtown core. I was very fortunate to sit in on a service when I visited recently and even though I couldn’t understand the words, the singing and praying made me well up with emotion. It doesn’t matter what faith you belong to; this is a house of god and all are welcomed.

Worth a walk through
Downtown in Mexico is never teh same without a central church. This is a basilica because it has TWO steeples.

Historic, beautiful, always open, must see
Took city tour by Vista Tours (get Juan Manuel Tolentino, Victor driver) Juan is excellent. We did 4.5 long enough, city area not unwalkable but narrow and not used for wheel chairs, must be able to walk at least 4-5 blks. See cliff divers, markets, silver, and area. But church interior, walls, doors, very old. Can take pictures inside. Worth it. Longbeach.

Beautiful Cathedra
This was included as part of our Downtown Trolley Tour. It is a beautiful cathedral inside and out. Large, lots to see inside. It is across the street of an active square. If you like touring churches this one is worth it.

Exquisite decor and paintings.
Great place for a little quiet time. Close to the huge Market, so gets you out of the sun and the pedestrian hustle.

Saw this attraction on the City tour. Tons of History. Beautiful building. Took our time. Effort has been made to keep the birds out and attraction pristine
