Above and beyond service

Words can’t express the gratitude of the staff here, they made us feel so special celebrating our engagement! We just came to have a celebratory drink but the staff made our night special and it was one of the best moments of our evening!!! Sergio the waiter went above and beyond! Thank you to all the staff!!! The desserts were Amazing!!

Gorgeous food, service, and views.

We loved our experience at Carajillo! The rooftop location is incredible with a gorgeous ambiance and beautiful view and music. The service was bar none (Jorge, our waiter, went above and beyond to make our experience magical). We had the cocktail of the day, mango margarita, cappuccino, tuna carpaccio and shrimp tacos. Everything was delicious. We ended with a glass of Prosecco and a Chai Carajillo (they have 6 flavors of Carajillo, their namesake and all of them sounded incredible). If you’re visiting San Miguel de Allende, make a point to stop at Carajillo for a meal. You’ll be so glad you did!

Best dinner and experience

After much deliberation my gf and I decided hands down this is by far the best restaurant AND experience we have ever been to. Live music with a twist, impeccable service from our waiter Jorge (needs a raise), amazing food and drinks like you wouldn’t believe, and a magnificent site of the San Miguel churches in the background from the rooftop view. 10/10 enough said, just go and thank me later.

Fun, hip spot to drink & eat

We went to Carajillo on a Friday evening. It was very lively with a DJ and a hip crowd. It’s a spin-off of a restaurant in CDMX, which makes sense - it seemed to cater to a hip CDMX crowd (we were the only “gringos” there). The service was attentive and prompt, and the food & cocktails were enjoyable. We had a pizza and carpaccio to eat, both of which were delicious and well crafted. The crust on the pizza was perfect. Cocktails were also great, and the broad range of carajillo variations is fun to explore. This is kind of a “see & be seen” type spot - at least on the weekends - which means the music is loud and the vibe is energetic. We found it to be fun! There is a 2 hour table limit due to COVID.
