With the beautiful Caribbean Sea extended at its best, Cancun, well known as the jewel of the Caribbean exhibits beautiful resorts complemented with many restaurants. The Big Fish Restaurant and Bar is one of Cancun’s newest little restaurants located in the middle of the famous hotel zone. Our Management and Staff proudly invite you to come and dine with us. Big Fish Restaurant offers an exceptional lunch menu with fresh seafood deliciously prepared in many ways. A visit to Cancun has to include time to enjoy a freshly made ceviche, a tostada, a carpaccio, seafood pasta , or seafood tacos all available at Big Fish Restaurant. Our Chef has created a wonderful selection of appetizers, soups and salads, and our house specialties that include our popular coconut encrusted fillet of grouper, chicken wings with guava pineapple sauce, fajitas, or coconut curry shrimp to name a few., All to be accompanied by a cool, relaxing Mojito, Daiquiri, or our house favorite, El Coco Loco drink!!!!

On any beautiful day we offer prime time front row seats to view the spectacular sunsets that appear over the Nichupte Lagoon. What a way to relax while you enjoy one of our exotic frozen cocktails, a nice cold beer, or your choice of beverage! The Big Fish Restaurant offers a wonderful dinner menu, that includes our popular appetizers like the Jumbo crab stack, Shrimp Mojito shooters, Oyster Shooters, Rib Eye Tacos and Lobster Bites. Our Chef prepares the fresh catch of the day, exquisite lobster tails, plump shrimp, blue fin tuna, and fresh salmon, seafood that are all Mexican favorites topped with fruitful flavours of coconut, mango, pineapple, and guava making our dishes unique and classified only as the best!!

Amazing ceviche

During our day-trip we happened to stop here for lunch and my boyfriend said it was the best ceviche of his life. Highly recommend it, and the views of the ocean while we ate were next-level.

Foodies Restaurant but not fancy

Awesome food. Simple decor. Very relaxing. Wine was better than at other places. Crocs 2 feet away and 80s music was the cherry on top

Look out for crocodiles

We had amazing food here and fantastic service. What was even more wonderful than the scenery and food was the crocodiles. The waiter was kind enough to point them out to us. It was a total spur of the moment thing to eat here, am glad we made that decision.

Favorite Cancun Exp

We loved this restaurant! So authentic and welcoming. Our favorite part was meeting the locals, Pancho and Andrea, the crocodiles!! Where could you eat next to a crocodile and be perfectly safe?? Again, our favorite Cancun experience!! Oh, and the food and service were superb!

Coconut Fish fillet

My wife and I had the Encrusted Coconut Fish Fillet with mango sauce and it was very good. It was a little hard to find as the iPhone map give you a wrong location, so missed it on the first attempt, google map is correct. Also it’s on the lagoon so suggest daylight to enjoys the view. Night time lacks ambiance but the food and service was still great.

Super fun place with great seafood!

My husband and I ate here the other night for an early dinner and it was our favorite dining experience of our entire vacation! Our server was super nice and really made it fun- I wish I could remember his name. I mentioned that my husband wanted to see a crocodile and he summoned Andrea the local croc and even fed her in Front of us so we could get a good look at her. Our food was also phenomenal- some of the best seafood I h e ever had!! We were so sad it was our last night in town because we wish we could go back!

Amazing food and service

This place has amazing seafood. The service was great. A giant crocodile swam right beside the restaurant keeping us entertained. We would definitely eat here again!!

Great experience

We were greeted by a friendly and personable gentleman who seated us in a terrific spot with a view of the "neighborhood crocodile". The drinks were good, the food was terrific and the service was top notch. We will definitely return.
