Bazar Casa Ramírez

While in port on a cruise, we bussed to this shopping location and spent a lot of time enjoying the Mexican-made pottery, metal work and more. So much to choose from for souvenirs or gifts. Two floors packed with colorful and fun items to appeal to anyone looking for authentic Mexican craftsmanship. Highly recommend!!

The shop is a gemstone in the middle of a bunch of glass. Normal Mexico tourist items in every shop up and down the street, but fortunately I also went inside this one! Beautiful folk arts and crafts from around Mexico, and very reasonable prices (and I got a discount for using cash). Don’t forget to go upstairs as well. Aimee was so nice to chat with and took care to wrap everything, though one piece was broken after the drive home so still be very careful with your treasures! I could have spent much more time looking around at all the beautiful, authentic and handmade art. Thanks for having this shop!

Skip all the tourist junk and go to this store for beautiful items actually made in Mexico by artists. Prices are not cheap but reasonable (compared to what you would pay for the same items in San Diego), considering the quality. The sales people are fluent in English, and very knowledgeable and helpful.

I found the most unique Mexican Arts and Crafts in Ensenada! I loved it, it’s like an art gallery, everything is hand made in Mexico and each piece is special.

We LOVE Bazar Casa Ramirez! Lots of wonderful, unique hand crafts and artwork. We have collected Dia de los Muertos items for over 30 years, but always find something new here. Prices are very reasonable and they have a very nice staff!

Just got back from visiting Ensenada again. This is just the best store! They DO NOT sell junk made in China like so many shops in this tourist area. EVERYTHING is handmade in Mexico by Mexican artists!! The owner & staff are very nice & helpful, none of that haggling & urging you to buy like the street vendors & other shops. You can take your time & shop in total comfort. They run a very quality store! I found the most beautiful handmade ceramic light switch covers. They wrap everything very nicely for your travels & give you a really cute shopping bag too:-) Be sure to ask to check out their upstairs rooms, amazing art of many different sorts! I will visit this store on every trip to Ensenada, you should definitely check it out!

We love this store. We stumbled across this store a few years back and now every time we go to Ensenada we stop in to see what they have. The ladies are very nice. We have bought beautiful Day of the Dead figurines and they pack them in bubble wrap so they are safe to travel home with. They also have a wall collection of beautiful Hearts, some with wings and some with out in all sizes. They are beautiful They have all kinds of ceramic items and there is an upstairs that is huge and has all kinds of items. Great find!
