Best chicken, best deal

A tasty grilled chicken, all the fixings, 130 MXD. Why say more. Eat in or take away. Restaurants / food vendors get so much better in Playa when you get a few blocks from 5th Avenue.

BEST CHICKEN!! AMAZING!

We were wandering the streets of Playa Del Carmen and stubbled on this GEM! We loved it so much we had it 3 days in a row for lunch! Not joking. Its is a 1/2 or full chicken grilled over hot hardwood coals and it is so moist, so tasty and so delicious. The decor is basic we opted to take out each time and took it to a bar called "karen’s" on 5th street that would allow us to bring food. and we had margaritas there. This Chicken place I cannot recommend it enough. We took all the sauces and the tomatoe thing they give you in plastic bags and poured it all over the chicken and let it soak up the taste and ate it with the tacos. The remaining juice we put rice in and ate that all up too. it was at the time 80 pesos for a 1/2 chicken and more than enough for 2 people. WE LOVE THIS PLACE!!! will go back again and again. its so tasty.

Worth the wait.

We got there around 3pm, and there was a 20 minute wait, but it was well worth it. Great chicken. The green salsa was super spicy. You can't beat the price or quality of the food. GOOGLE THE DIRECTIONS BECAUSE TRIPADVISOR GIVES BAD DIRECTIONS.

The best value we had in all of Playa del Carmen

The group of 8 of us ordered 3 whole grilled chickens for $130MXD each. So that works out to $2.50 USD per person, with leftovers. We got the chickens to go, and brought it back to our Airbnb, and were not disappointed in how tasty the food is. They are very generous with the tortillas, and the accompanying sauces were excellent. Be warned, the brown sauce is very spicy. The guys who work the grill are a riot and a bunch of fun. I would come back here the next time in PdC.

Best Cheap local Meal in PDC

This place is the best place in PDC hands down. The chicken is absolutely delicious. Pair it with the simple pickled onions, salsa, worm corn tortillas and the chili sauce on the tables and it’s out of this world. The cost being under 130 pesos for a whole chicken and fixings can’t be beat. Only thing that would make this place better was if the sold beer to cool down the delicious heat from the sauce. Mexican Coke or water do a good job but a cold beer would take it over the top!

Simply the best Chicken in Playa!

We visit Playa on a regular basis and this has become one of our go to places. Can't beat price or quality of food. Stop reading reviews of this place and get over there while the going is good! Outstanding!!!!

Love this place. Great cheap eats.

Terrific Sinaloa style chicken and sides including a drink for I think 69 pesos. It’s great close to down town definitely not a tourist trap it you and a whole bunch of hard working locals dining. It’s quite the floor is gravel and the tables and chair are plastic. You’re not there for ambiance you’re there for delicious food and this place delivers. Quarter chicken, pickled onions, rice, and salsa . I don’t even think they offer anything else. There’s no alcohol served here. It closes at 6 so either grab some to take home or stay and have a late lunch or early dinner. Just enjoy a simplistic Mexican meal that doesn’t break the bank.

Best chicken taco I ever had

We came here as part of the Urban Adventures taco tour around Playa Del Carmen. The chicken was epic and great to see it all being cooked up on the grill right in front of you. Fantastic chicken tacos, now I have my benchmark by which all others will be judged.
